DGIST Envrionmental Club (Prof. In supervised) got the first prize at the 2nd Energy-Environment Hybrid Capstone National Competetion! 지난 11월 27일, DGIST 환경 동아리 '드부아'의 멤버 기초학부생 김화평, 김은지, 양창의와 에너지시스템공학전공 석사과정 이경석(지도교수 인수일)이 경북 동해안 지속 가능 에너지 환경 융합 인재 양성단에서 주최한 ‘2015 제2회 에너지-환경 융합 전국 캡스톤 대회’에 참가해 '기술-기술 융합분야'에서 1등을 수상했다.
이번 대회는 4개 세션으로 나누어 각 팀이 경쟁해 각 세션별로 1등을 선발했다. 9월 30일까지 제안서를 제출해 사전심사를 거쳐 발표팀을 선정하고, 11월 27일 포항공과대학교 국제관에서 공식 발표를 갖는 형태로 운영됐다.
'드부아'의 학생들은 "경진대회를 통해 DGIST의 이름을 외부에 알릴 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었고, 신재생 에너지와 환경 분야의 융합 연구를 장려할 수 있는 좋은 기회였다"고 수상 소감을 말했다. '드부아' 학생들은 수상받은 상금 전액을 에너지와 환경시설로부터 소외된 계층에 기부할 예정이다.
